Thinking About Things Too Much

I feel like I am in a rut. I seem to do the same thing over and over. I just keep hoping for one thing and am thinking about it too much. I wish I could stop thinking about it because once I do that is when it will come. I am sorry Matt and Emmy. I have not been myself and have been too emotional. Today is a new day. It is going to be a good day. It is ok that things are not happening as we planned. Everything will be ok! Everything happens for a reason and things happen in time. Now I am going to go get my Emmy who is yelling "mommy mommy daders daders" get out of her crib and have a good day!

Happy Place

My mom always told me that " your laundry room needs to be a happy place if you want your laundry to get done". I hate laundry for the life of me! I am a clean freak and dont mind doing any chores except laundry. About a month ago I walked into my bedroom and wanted to cry after seeing 5 loads of laundry sitting on the floor. That was when i went and got myself the grass fabric softener. I was so good at doing laundry and stayed on top of it for a total of a week.

Yesterday I went to hobby lobby just to get out of the house. As I was looking around I found the perfect sign. "Inquire within. Moms laundry. Help wanted" It was just what I needed. I called Matt said " honey the laundry room is getting a makeover, it does not count as money from my budget and your going to be happy even if you don't like it" He was fine with it. I bought a few little things and repainted my magnet board. I am fully confident that my laundry room is going to be my "happy place" and that I will be able to keep up on my laundry. The only thing left is to paint. We are going to attempt doing the laundry room, family room, den, master bedroom and bathroom this weekend. Wish us luck!

October Fun!

This has been such a fun week! It has been so fun getting ready for Halloween. Last Wednesday we all went to the pumpkin patch. Emmy loved picking out the pumpkins and kept saying " Tis is da punkn I want mommy" She is growing so fast and saying so many words. She is so much fun! On Thursday we had a party for the kids at playgroup and Emmy enjoyed herself. Halloween was a blast. We hung out at our house and Emmy we Trick or Treating. She loved it! I was a little upset with her costume this year. I had such high hopes for it but it did not turn out how I wanted it to. She was still adorable. I hope everyone had a GREAT Halloween!
